Watchin Real World New Orleans...
I used to want to be on Real World when I was younger, it is one of my favorite tv shows somehow. I like the fact that MTV puts all these characters (ha) in one house for us to find pleasure in their happiness, experiences, and foolishness.
But then, I found standards, and my yearning to be on the show is no more. Plus, I’d be soo boring because I don’t engage in drunken sex on tv...

Your question is worded weirdly…There is reason within those values, that is why they are valued, but our ethos is the result of what has been taught and learned through experience primarily.
Of what do you inquire?

Do you believe in fate?
Yes, I do in fact. It isn’t really known as fate in the Christian world, more so on the terms of destiny. What is meant for you is meant for you and there is a purpose to each and everything that has happened, despite we may not see the reason within the moment of its arising.
Thanks for the question, but that was too easy, make me think. :D

- Aristotle
Sometimes,I believe we think that if we discuss a topic or an issue, that listening to a different facet of opinion, of the opposition to your own idea, is a sign of weakness. That’s ignorant and close-minded. Open yourself to others and their viewpoints, you may learn something.

Just a Thought..
The bee is one of the most amazing creatures, ecologically and historically. Hold your focus, not to its painful sting, I would like to speak on one particular facet it has: determination. By aerodynamic standards and what research on a scientific standpoint suggest, the bee should not be able to fly, this due to the proportion of its body in reference to its small, almost delicate wingspan. ...

- Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
I think we all should lead lives like this, and this isn’t even on a religious level, really just a spiritual one. I love studying literature, I’ve thought about being an English major. I love taking World Lit in high school, because there are soo many universals within the world’s literature on such a wide span. I...

The Cave People
by Max Lucado
He came to the world that was his own, but his own people did not accept him. John 1:11
LONG AGO, OR maybe not so long ago, there was a tribe in a dark, cold cavern.
The cave dwellers would huddle together and cry against the chill. Loud and long they wailed. It was all they did. It was all they knew to do. The sounds in the cave were mournful, but the people didn’t know...

-the Chinese philosopher, Laozi
Do wisdom have confines? Does it have a ceiling? No. I believe that we place limits on ourselves. I say to you, press the ceiling those place on you, and soar to your highest potential.

- Jesus, Matthew 5:6
Sometimes, I think we place our focus on the wrong things. We’ll look for different vices to fill voids and entertain ourselves for a moment, like cars and money, and even drugs and sex. But, in the end, we find that those things don’t give the euphoria that they used to and get grow unhappy. I believe if we attain a focus in God, and seek Him instead of trying to...

Sometimes pushing the envelope is needed for progression, like a forefather said,” Press your way through.” We get too complacent, yet expect a change. We cannot live like this, speak out against the tricks of ignorance.

I wonder what your thoughts are on utopia that...
Utopia can be any and everything the mind that sets it wishes it to be. I believe you’re asking is utopia attainable. Sadly no, for within a utopia, everything is perfect, and reality doesn’t allow that. Unfortunately, some try to create a utopian mindset for themselves as a defense mechanism to life, but that is not a good way to live, it’s too panglossian and detached. Now, can...

Being the complex individual that you are, what...
I look upon the simple matters of life and find deepness within. For example, waking up in the morning. Some see this as an everyday event, but I don’t take likely that God did not have to wake me up. I think on deep subjects, with an easygoing methodology. But you ask what brings me fulfillment? Finding answers. We as a people question so many things, and I love to profess on those...

What's the secret to happiness?
To answer this question, I must first speak on the ecstasy of happiness. Happiness is very mercurial my friend, it is an emotion that comes and goes too often. I believe that we should try to find contentment; a condition that is more stabilized than the former. So, the secret, if there is one, to happiness? Yes, it is a joy, but, is it perrenial? Is it something that will last and search for?...

Are you more of a talker or more of a listener?
I like to consider myself a listener, I try to be also. I know I am a gregarious person though, always giving my two cents on different situations. I am trying to learn how to listen, and I believe that we as a people should learn how to do this more. We are to open to talk about something without full knowledge of the scenario, implusivity is awful. With listening comes understanding. I pray for...

I thank you for your affinity in my analyzing and my thoughts being put into this rhetorical binding which may only act as a small illustration to the depth of which I love to relay, especially through formspring and this Q&A of a medium which I do love to use. We are told that we can be whoever we want and...
I am sorry to hear this. May I offer my advice? I believe we can have the life we want if we put God first, He will set goals for our good, and a lot than we could even do for ourselves. Pray about your situation, ask God for guidance, and have patience. Whatever you are seeking can come to past, all of your hopes and dreams, they can come true, if you believe that God will do it and put your...

what is real beauty?
Real beauty you ask? Wonderful question, I believe I have extrapolated upon this very subject before but I will invoke another musing that I pray meet your edification. This aspect of life is very individual, so I must answer it on a personal standpoint. For me, real beauty is found in both the internal and external of someone, or even something. I will begin on the inside of an entity, for it is...

Since you're a musician this question should be up...
Ahh, yes, thank you for allowing me to expound on one of my passions, a joy, and an addiction: music; my drug and medium. I’ve been singing since about the age of 4 or 5, so music has always been a part of me. Singing in church choirs and for talent shows, or even just around the house is surely a pleasure. I believe music is a euphoria of which a definition cannot be form. For me, noise and...

Such a wonderful topic, I shall have to perpend on the manifold literatures I’ve scoped, especially through my high school career haha. I would have to say the main character in Life of Pi, I cannot recall the name at the moment. But his vim and vigor within the plot was amazing, this novel truly illustrates a human among the brink of a breaking point, and surviving with amazing...

A great evil I see in humanity, is the selling of the soul and the demon that demands us to deplete our ethos, for material gain, for, in the end, something is is lost, you’ve accrued nothing.

Well, of course I agree with it, being the religious person I am. But, of course, there is going to be a schism there because of all the different faiths that my coincide one school, thus the teaching of various course along the lines of Comparative Religions. It takes a truly open-minded teacher and student to take that class in my opinion. I took it, and it not only make my standing on my belief...

Thought of the Day: For Your Good, Be Grateful
Today, my mind went back to one of my many family reunions, I don’t know why it happened randomly today. Anyway, at the time I thought back to, I was around 5, maybe 6 years old and for our family reunions we have this big cabin off in the country and part of the cabin was the kitchen where we cooked all the food. My grandma cooked that year and I went back there just because I was nosy....
